* ABSTRACT | |||||||
Inflation is the most successful scenario of the early universe. It tells us the universe expanded exponentially for a short time and makes the spacetime 10^{28} larger than previous, and set the initial conditions of the universe we observe today. To drive inflation, we need a kind of matter with minus pressure (smaller than -1/3 of its energy density). A slow-rolling scalar field will do the job, which may be the low energy realization of string theory or supergravity. Besides, redundant heavy fields will also exists in the early universe. In this talk I will introduce some new developments on the possible observational impacts on the CMB, the primordial non-Gaussianity, contributed by these heavy scalar fields in inflationary era. |
