* ABSTRACT | |||||||
We present a theoretical framework for the inelastic light scattering which treats non-resonant and resonant scattering on equal footing. This is made possible owing to Keldysh-Schwinger functional integral method, which expresses light scattering cross-section directly in the form of correlation function without involving a sum over intermediate states as in the case of Kramers-Heisenberg formula. The correlation function can be then computed by the technique of quantum field theory. Applications to Raman scattering of graphene and two-magnon scattering of antiferromagnetic insulators are discussed. |
