* ABSTRACT | |||||||
General relativity predicts a dynamical spacetime describing modern cosmology and gravitational waves from extreme transient events. For weak gravity in galactic dynamics, we introduce some recent developments on inertia and dynamical dark energy from the fundamental mode of the Hubble horizon (2017, ApJ 837:22). For strong gravity in the central engines of cosmological gammaray bursts and core-collapse supernovae involving rotating black black holes, we discuss a novel search for broadband extended emission in gravitational waves by GPU accelerated butterfly filtering (2016, ApJ 819:169), currently applied to LIGO S6 on a 44 teraflop computer. |
