Overview
This workshop is the joint academic activity of APCTP, IBS CTPU, KISTI GSDC, and BK21+ KU. It is our purpose to provide this workshop as a platform for promoting the international relationship between Korean high energy physics communities and the leading organization in the world such as CERN.
Further, this workshop would like to provide communications and collaborations between experimental and theoretical physicists in the Asia Pacific region. In order to ensure active participation of young physicists who are interested in the high energy physics, the vast and firm network of APCTP in the region would be of great help and necessity. We hope that this workshop will be a suitable place for those who are working in Korea for the LHC experiments to get together and exchange their ideas and achievements. The workshop will be a good example of the APCTP activities that help the physics community in the Asia/Pacific region to promote their potentials, seeking to pursue the highest quality of research, train young scientists in all areas of theoretical physics, and promote international cooperation among scientists from its member countries in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The workshop will for sure lead in the research of theoretical physics, facilitate international collaborations, and contribute to the advancement of physics by training young physicists from the Asia Pacific region. The experience of the workshops in last ten years have been very fruitful and instructive, in the sense that many colleagues in the community of Korean high energy physics have recognized that this workshop is necessary and essential for them. They assert that, among a number of workshops and conferences that are scattered all year round, this workshop takes the right place at the right time. Topics
