Overview
Local measurements of the Hubble parameter are in tension with LambdaCDM analysis of Planck data. Separately, it has been conjectured that de Sitter vacua belong to the Swampland of inconsistent low-energy effective theories coupled to gravity, thereby also ruling out LambdaCDM. However, further analysis of the low redshift data suggests a preference for a phantom regime where the dark energy equation of state w < -1. If true, this is a strong challenge to EFT and the Swampland program. The goal of the workshop is to bring together experts on observations, data analysis and theory to discuss the existing conflict and the likely resolution.
