    Scope
       This meeting is organized by the SCES (strongly correlated electron
      systems) community in Korea sponsored by the Asia Pacific Center for
      Theoretical Physics (APCTP), Joint A3 (China, Japan, Korea) Program,
      and Korea-UK program, and intends to bring world leaders on several
      fronts of condensed matter physics.

       In keeping with our tradition of hosting the winter workshop at one of
      the ski resort areas in Korea in a relaxed atmosphere, the meeting
      will take place at Muju resort (http://www.mdysresort.com/). 
      During the five and a half day workshop we hope to 
      cover some of the exciting frontiers of condensed matter
      physics today, such as the physics of 4d,5d strongly spin-orbit
      coupled materials, multiferroics, strongly correlated electron systems,
      and superconductivity. A tentative list of invited speakers are included below.
