    Overview
    The fourth session of 2013 will focus on large N_c QCD, which has been considered to be a useful approximation together with (hQCD) or without (QCD) large λ (‘t Hooft constant) limit to infer the possible form of effective theory of QCD at low energy region. The skyrmion picture appearing naturally in the large N_c limit will be discussed using the holographic argument. This picture will describe the hadronic matter at higher density in the form of skyrmions on the lattice and provide a hint at the state of cold baryonic matter presumed to be present in the interior of compact stars. The merit of this program is that it foresees the future direction of the field that will develop in Korea associated with the forth-coming accelerator RAON in the Institute for Basic Science and other RIB machines in the world (Japan, China, USA, Europe, …) -- and ultimately FAIR (GSI/Darmstadt) -- providing the glimpse into the cold dense baryonic matter that remains largely unexplored.
