Overview

We plan to invite outstanding scholars who have studied quantum field theory and string theory for a long time and listen to their views on the future research direction of these theories in the field of theoretical physics. At the same time, we want to have a chance to discuss on the topics with young researchers.

Through the workshop 'Research Directions in Quantum Field Theory and String Theory', we would like to have the direction to devote ourselves to both Korea's independent research and international cooperation.

The workshop is also organized to mark the retirement of Chaiho Rim, professor in Sogang university. We warmly invite you to join us to celebrate the retirement of Professor Rim.
