    Abstract

In this talk, I would like to partially answer two questions.
    1. What is the time evolution of the entanglement spectrum of quantum systems approaching thermalization?
    2. How to characterize the topological properties and critical phenomena in non-equilibrium or non-Hermitian systems?
To understand the first question, we study the level statistics in the entanglement Hamiltonian of generic quantum systems and observe a universal behavior of developing the level repulsion satisfied by the random matrix theory. To answer the second question, we demonstrate that the entanglement spectrum can detect the topological properties in both non-equilibrium and non-Hermitian phases. Moreover, we find at the critical point of the non-Hermitian Su-Schrieffer-Heeger model, the entanglement entropy scaling gives c=-2 central charge. This is the first free-fermion lattice realization of a non-unitary conformal field theory.
