Overview
We plan to organize a winter school on statistical physics for domestic graduate students. The winter school, which is held annually, is one of the most important regular events of the Korean statistical physics community. This will be the 13th occasion for the event. The school provides domestic graduate students with a series of lectures on a selected topic of statistical physics. From those lectures, graduate students are exposed to fundamental concepts, new research topics, research tools, and so on. The official language is Korean (한국어).
Topics
The program of the 13th school will be focused on fluctuation in equilibrium and nonequilibrium systems. Three lecture series (5 hours each) will be given under the titles - Stochastic Thermodynamics - Fluctuations and Responses in Stochastic Processes - Rigorous Thermodynamics and the Entropy Principle
