* ABSTRACT | |||||||
Quantum spin Hall system is recognized as the time-reversal invariant topological insulator, and watched with keen interest in the condensed matter physics. In this talk, we examine the electron-electron correlation in the Kane-Mele model, which is the prototype of the quantum spin Hall system, and discuss the magnetic response. In a layered system, we can see the perfect diamagnetism in some appropriate parameter region. |
