* ABSTRACT | |||||||
Axion is the goldstone boson of spontaneously broken Peccei-Quinn symmetry, which explaines negligibly small CP violation in the strong interaction. Supersymmetry implies the existence of fermionic superpartner of axion, axino. With gravity mediated supersymmetry breaking, axino mass is proportional to the gravitino mass, but can show hierarchical structure by accidental symmetry. In this seminar, systematic approach to the axino mass is made, emphasizing shift symmetric nature of the axion superfield. Various situation including non-minimal K\"ahler potential, axion superfield with nonzero F-term, contribution from other types of supersymmery breaking mechanism will also be taken into account. Such approach also can be applied to general goldstone boson of global symmetrybreaking, field with the shift symmetry. |
