'오어사'(Oarsa [o-eosa]) Straight distance from POSTECH: 10 km (30 minutes by car)
The temple is located at the Unje Mountain and it has founded in the Shilla Dynasty (AC 579~632). Short story of naming '오어사'(Oarsa [o-eosa])
Buddhist monk Wonhyo and Hyegwon played a game which is to revive dead fish back to living fish by means of the power of the Buddha. There are two dead fish and one is revive and the other could not. Thus, watching this situation two monk argued that 'my (오, 吾) fish (어, 魚) is reviving'. The existing buildings are mainly Daewoongjeon (羅 漢 殿), Seolseondang (說 禪 堂), Chilsunggak, and Sangreunggak. Among them, all of the buildings except Daeungjeon were constructed recently. A typical relic of this section is the Korean traditional hat of Buddhist monk Wonhyo kept in the Daeungjeon. It is one of the most sophisticated and has a diameter of about 45 cm and a height 30 cm. The back part is almost cut off, but the double-layered paper is engraved. It is a rare thing that is made of grass roots.
In addition, there are bureaucratic inscriptions (Buddhist inscriptions), Buddhist inscriptions (Buddhist memorial inscriptions), Unjejamsan Buddhist monuments, and other inscriptions. The existing adjutant hermit are Hwajeongam and Wonjongam, and the scenery of the reservoir in front of Oarsa, the Honggye waterfall, and the rocky cliff are excellent.
