Visitors Program
Overview Plus Minus
The Center strongly encourages short and long-term visits by researchers or small research groups from the Asia-Pacific region, as well as world-class scholars. Visitors are expected to collaborate with research groups and to participate in the scientific activities such as seminars and workshops at APCTP.

My interest is in the various ordering phenomena, low-energy excitations and transport properties in the strongly correlated systems such d- and f -electron systems: • Charge, spin, and multipole ordering in multiorbital systems. Magnetic excitations in the ordered phases of multiorbital systems including the superconducting phase apart from the spin or the orbitally ordered system. It can also include the coexistense phases such as a combined spin-charge-orbital ordered phase found in the half-doped manganites. • Effects of thermal-phase fluctuations on the quasiparticle excitations in High-T c su- perconductors especially cuprates • Effect of disorder on transport properties especially in iron-based superconductors • Quasiparticle interference (QPI) due to impurity atoms. QPI has been proven to be a powerful tool in unveiling the symmetry of superconducting gap as well as the bandstructure in various systems such as cuprates, pnictides and topological insulators.
